Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might have been away from films for a long time but she was always in the headline for some reason or the other. She is a well known figure internationally and on various occasions, represents India globally. She was the one and only Bollywood celebrity to appear as a guest on the Oprah Winfrey and David Letterman shows. She is the face of international cosmetic brand L’Oreal. She has walked the red carpet of Cannes a couple of times. She has also starred in few Hollywood flicks and many Hollywood bigwigs are eager to work with her. Ash is now ready to earn a new reorganization of being a first guest on the David Frost show who is best known to have interviewed former US President Richard Nixon. David’s one hour long interview with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be more inclined towards her contribution to work. “Frost will also interview Sir Paul McCartney and Archbishop Desmond Tutu in separate episodes,” a source informs. Aishwarya has always been an eye candy of international figures. She was recently appointed as a brand ambassador of UNIAIDS. In her speech, she said that she just does not want to be a poster girl but want to work at grassroots level. Post her baby birth, Ash has not yet signed any film.

Well, the rivalry between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan is an old chapter which gets repeated time and again. The more the duo tries to avoid each other, situations tend to bring them together and they are bound to cross paths. When the veteran actor Rajesh Khanna passed away, Salman waited in his car until Shah Rukh left. The duo always avoids coming face to face, but situations persist them to clash. Something similar happened at ace filmmaker Yash Chopra’s funeral. Shah Rukh Khan who is very close to the Chopra family, remained throughout with them at that sad time of mourning. Among many dignitaries and celebrities of the film industry, Salman Khan who worked with YRF ‘EkTha Tiger’ also came to pay his last respects to Yash Chopra. When he entered, he saw Shah Rukh sitting near Pamela Chopra. An insider informs, “Yashji’s wife Pamela was sitting near his body along with Shah Rukh. That’s when Salman walked in. And then their eyes met!” Sallu apparently went rather stiff at seeing SRK next to the grieving widow. “Thank God for Katrina Kaif, who stepped forward and escorted him to meet Pamela. By then, SRK had moved from his spot and got busy with his iPad.”  Katrina intervened and saved the situation. Shah Rukh and Salman’s rivalry dates long back when Sallu celebrated Katrina’s birthday. Ever since, they did not share pleasantries and also did not exchange words.

Rani Mukherjee who shares an open secret relationship with Yash Raj head honcho Aditya Chopra stood by Yash Chopra’s family and lent them mental and emotional support which the family needed during this hard time. The Chopras received a big blow with the sudden demise of Yash Chopra. They were actually not at all prepared for it especially when he was recovering and undergoing treatment at Lilavati hospital. When Yash Chopra was admitted to Lilavati hospital and doctors detected dengue, Rani cancelled all her events and looked after Yashji in the hospital. After the death of Yash Chopra, Rani took part in every ritual. She was there at the hospital, she was present at the funeral, and she also stood by the family at the chautha ceremony. When doctors declared Yash Chopra dead, Rani controlled shattered Aditya in the hospital. A source told a website, “Aditya, who was very close to his father just got inconsolable and burst into tears. Rani, who was next to Aditya cajoled him into controlling himself, asking him to take care of mother Pamela, who was completely shattered.” The source further added, “Pam aunty was caressing Yashji’s forehead, while Uday who looked haggard was seen taking phone calls, informing close relatives about his father’s sad demise.” Talking about the cremation the source said, “Uday burst into tears, hugging his mother Pamela. The two were inconsolable, even Rani was in tears trying to cajole both.” Initially, Rani did not share a great rapport with Yashji. Yash Chopra favours Aditya’s first wife Payal and he did not want his son to divorce Payal but finally the legal formalities got over and Yash Chopra lastly accepted Rani Mukherjee. With things sorted out between Rani and the Chopra family, Rani went on a vacation with Aditya Chopra and his family. When everything fall into place and things were going great guns, the Chopra family and the entire film industry shook with the death of the filmmaker. It was also speculated that Rani and Aditya might enter into wedlock very soon but God has something else stored for all.
